Protection plan

The 8-year limited warranty sends you the replacement part. The plan pays for the rest of the repair.

What it pays for

When a part the warranty covers fails during the plan:

• the licensed HVAC technician you choose, to find the problem, replace the part and get the system running again;
• shipping the new part to you, and the failed part back to Status;
• any refrigerant the repair needs.

How a repair works

1. Call us at (307) 442-8512, day or night. We confirm the failure is covered and send the part.
2. Hire any licensed HVAC technician to do the repair.
3. Send us the technician's itemized bill. We pay the covered amount, to you or directly to the technician.

What it doesn't cover

• the part itself (the warranty supplies it);
• anything the warranty excludes, such as damage, misuse or improper installation;
• cleaning and routine maintenance.

How it works

• Coverage starts on your installation date, the same date the warranty uses, and lasts 2 or 5 years.
• One plan covers one system: the outdoor unit and the indoor units sold with it.
• Over its term, the plan pays up to what you paid for the system.
• Installed it yourself? You're covered the way the warranty covers you: installed per the instructions and local codes.
• Cancel within 30 days for a full refund if you haven't made a claim. After that, you get back the unused part of the plan, and claims already paid are not deducted. Cancel your order before it ships, or return the system, and the plan is refunded in full.
