Shipping & warranty
When it arrives
It comes on a pallet to the curb, not inside — the outdoor unit is the heavy box, so have a helper ready. Transit takes 4–10 days once it ships.
Warranty
8-year limited warranty on the compressor and parts, handled by Status directly. Installing it yourself doesn't affect coverage: the warranty applies to your own installation done per the instructions and local codes — no HVAC contractor required. Register your system once it's installed. The warranty covers parts only; a protection plan adds the technician, part shipping and refrigerant for 2 or 5 years.
